Note: Students must attend all scheduled rehearsals. Students are not excused from performances except for a death in the family or hospitalization. You must call 886-7700 x1147 and notify Mr. Rossettini at least 48 hours in advance if you are going to miss a rehearsal. Check the band handbook for attendance policy. Make up work will be assigned for excused absences. Students involved in athletics must attend all rehearsals unless involved in a game. No student will be excused from a performance unless it is an emergency. Band is an academic class and will result in a reduction of the student’s grade as in accordance will the Newport News Public School Policy. We hope you become involved and attend.
